The Working Title: Things I Have Not Done
Bendová, Ivana ; Smetana, Matěj (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
My bachelor thesis deals with the studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and with unrealized projects. These are works that remained as ideas in my mind, and that I started but have not yet been fully realized. The material for this work is in the form of texts, these lyrics are slightly poetic memories of my thoughts, the reconstruction of memories, influenced by the current state of my mind. I created a portfolio of my unrealized projects visually looking like the real portfolio, that was required to be produced during the last four years of my studies. The work that I am presenting is a confrontation of those two portfolios like instalation.

Looking Back
Ivanová, Karolína ; Hládeková, Katarína (referee) ; Smetana, Matěj (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I will deal with the connection between observation and photography process. I watch how the process of photography is born in its simplest and most basic form and in the initial idea. The first part of my bachelor thesis consists of audio recordings where I capture the everyday moments of interest that I was interested in. I am interested in the relationship between photos by word / language, how the language enters the photo, and vice versa. It is enough to look at the picture and associations and memories and ideas are reflected in words and images. It's about raising "mental" photos in my mind. The second part of my bachelor's thesis consists of a mirror object, which is activated only when the viewer is involved in the observation process.

Aggregation of Security Incident Reports
Kapičák, Daniel ; Kováčik, Michal (referee) ; Bartoš, Václav (advisor)
In this thesis, I present analysis of security incident reports in IDEA format from Mentat and their aggregation and correlation methods design and implementation. In data analysis, I show huge security reports diversity. Next, I show design of simple framework and system of templates. This framework and system of templates simplify aggregation and correlation methods design and implementation. Finally, I evaluate designed methods using Mentat database dumps. The results showed that designed methods can reduce the number of security reports up to 90% without loss of any significant information.
Visualization of Network Security Events
Stehlík, Petr ; Kováčik, Michal (referee) ; Krobot, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on visualization of network security events via modern web technologies. Multiple technologies for creating modern web application supporting visualising large volume of security events were studied. The application was designed for NEMEA system which thanks to this thesis acquired graphical user interface allowing big data visual analysis. Visualized events allow drill-down analysis. The application operates on security events stored in IDEA format which is used among other network security services and the application is therefore transferrable to them. NEMEA Dashboard has been tested on the target group of network administrators using acceptance tests.
The concept of education according to St. Augustine
Pecková, Alžběta ; Rybák, David (advisor) ; Pelcová, Naděžda (referee)
The bachelor's thesis on The Concept of Education according to St. Augustine focuses on the analysis of Augustine's ideas concerning education and upbringing within the methodological framework of the history of philosophy. The thesis examines Augustine's view of what is the meaning of education and education. In this context, Augustine's thought is strongly influenced primarily by Plato's philosophy and, of course, by the philosophical and theological tradition that followed. We will trace this context in which Augustine is situated, and also the way in which he builds on earlier sources, especially Plato's idea of education as a bringing to ideas and the motive of anamnesis. We will use this comparison to characterize Augustine's thinking on education more generally, with key themes being the relationship between education and religion, the role of the teacher in the educational process, and the importance of love and truth, example and the individual approach to education. Augustine's writings On the Teacher, Christian Education, and the Confessions will be the primary textual sources.
The vision of midwifery students about midwife profession
BAUEROVÁ, Denisa
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the idea of midwifery students about the profession of midwife. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part provides information on the history and development of the midwife profession. The attention is paid to the teaching of midwifery and obstetrics, the current system of education of midwives and the current profession and competencies of midwives. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis was carried out using a qualitative research survey in the form of semi-structured individual interviews. The research group consisted of 9 midwifery students from České Budějovice, Pilsen and Jihlava. After informants approvals, the interviews were recorded on a dictaphone with their consent, literally transcribed and analyzed. To evaluate the data, three categories and six subcategories were determined.Based on the above goal of this thesis, we set one research question. This research question examined the views of midwifery students on the profession of midwife. The research survey on the ideas of midwifery students showed that all the interviewed students did not know what competencies the midwife had before entering the midwifery study program. The research investigation showed that only one informant does not want to practice the profession of midwife. This informant stated that the profession of midwife is very stressful for her. The research also found that only one informant wants to work as a community midwife. Other informants agreed that they do not want to practice the profession of community midwife due to the great responsibility for pregnant women, the fetus, postpartum women or newborns. Only three informants did not mention anything that would not suit them in the profession of midwife. The disadvantages concered to less work with children further excessive stress and twelve-hour shifts in a hospital and irregular work in the maternity ward. Most of the informants agreed that they are not members and do not want to be part of the organization for midwives in the future. During the elaboration of the bachelor's thesis, we obtained the opinions, attitudes and ideas of students regarding the profession of midwife. The findings can be used by applicants for the midwifery study program to obtain information about the profession of midwife. This work could also be used by university teachers who teach midwives to be informed about the attitudes or ideas of midwives.
